Stilta is a Stockholm-based agentic AI platform purpose-built for high-stakes patent work, automating labor-intensive workflows like invalidity analysis, prior art search, portfolio analysis, and infringement research for IP law firms and corporate IP teams. Founded in December 2025 by four former McKinsey/QuantumBlack engineers, the company went through Y Combinator's W26 batch and raised a $10.5M seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz just five months after launch. Additional backers include Microsoft, Y Combinator, and founders and operators from OpenAI, Legora, Lovable, Sana, and Listen Labs. Despite being brand-new, Stilta has already signed enterprise customers including Roche, Alfa Laval, and Maersk, and plans to expand from patent litigation into a full IP operating system for enterprises and law firms.
