Synaps is a Vienna-based AI design platform positioning itself as the next-generation alternative to AutoCAD for architects, offering a browser-based, real-time collaborative canvas that combines floor plan drafting, 2D/3D rendering, and workflow management in one place. Its core product, Vecy AI, uses natural language prompts to generate vector-based architectural floor plans and claims to reduce required commands by 80% and accelerate the drawing process by a factor of 50 compared to legacy tools. Founded in 2023 by three Albanian-born entrepreneurs — Brendon Ahmeti, Agron Bajraktari, and Kevin Cobaj — the company launched its beta in Tirana in November 2025 and reached 60,000 users and hundreds of paying customers within five months, still in beta. In April/May 2026 it announced a $3.6M (€3.06M) pre-seed round led by Plug and Play and Fil Rouge Capital, following an earlier €1.4M pre-launch raise. A full product launch with 20+ new AI tools is planned for summer 2026, with a double-digit million seed round targeted for Q4 2026.
