The Naturist is an Estonian sustainable food-tech startup that manufactures organic, plant-based protein alternatives. Its flagship product is Crump, a clean-label, hemp- and pea-based mince designed to serve as a nutritious, sustainable substitute for minced beef. The product is sold as a shelf-stable dry crumble that expands and mimics ground meat when cooked with water. The startup was a finalist in Ajujaht 2022, Estonia's largest startup accelerator program, where they won the SEB-sponsored special prize. They also successfully completed an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, securing substantial backing from public supporters.
