Too Good To Go is the world's largest B2C marketplace for surplus food, connecting over 120 million users with 180,000+ business partners across 21 countries to rescue unsold food from restaurants, bakeries, and stores before it goes to waste. The Copenhagen-based B Corp has saved over 200 million meals since its 2015 launch, equivalent to avoiding 770,000 tons of CO2e emissions. The company generated just under $162 million in revenue in 2023 and is reportedly considering a €200-300 million funding round that could push its valuation above $1 billion unicorn status. Led by CEO Mette Lykke (former co-founder of Endomondo), the platform allows users to purchase "Magic Boxes" of surplus food at one-third the original price.
