Trussle was the UK's first online mortgage broker, founded in 2015 to digitize the mortgage application process and provide transparent, data-driven mortgage advice. The company pioneered continuous mortgage monitoring services that alert customers when better deals become available, helping them save money throughout their homeownership journey. Backed by Goldman Sachs and other major investors, Trussle raised over £35 million across multiple rounds before being acquired by US homeownership platform Better in November 2021 for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition gave Better entry into the £1.5 trillion UK mortgage market, and Trussle has since rebranded to Better.co.uk while maintaining its core mission of making mortgages faster, simpler, and more affordable.
