Tulyp Medical is developing an intelligent pressure-driven perfusion system for vascular procedures that maintains healthy blood flow by controlling pressure rather than flow. The technology is based on the principle that oxygen delivery is governed by vascular pressure, with all mammals sharing similar pressure ranges of 80-120mmHg. The company recently emerged from stealth after positive first-in-human study results and has submitted a 510(k) FDA application. Led by experienced medtech entrepreneurs who previously co-founded preCARDIA (acquired by Abiomed/Johnson & Johnson in 2021), the team has a proven track record in medical device development.
