VentriJect is a Danish MedTech spinout from Aalborg University, developing the Seismofit — a CE-marked medical device that uses seismocardiography to estimate VO₂ max (cardiorespiratory fitness) in under 3 minutes without any physical exercise. The technology has both clinical and consumer fitness applications, enabling rapid EU market expansion since its first major raise in 2021. In August 2025, the company closed a €1.7 million funding round backed by EIFO, TechStation, Investo Capital, and private investor Carsten Stendevad, bringing total funding to approximately $3.9M. VentriJect has signed distributors across Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK, and is actively exploring US market entry targeting over 55,000 health clubs.
