WasteLocker develops a predictive digital twin platform combining physics-based models, computer vision, and IoT sensing for real-time situational awareness and environmental compliance. Originally focused on smart waste containers using image recognition to detect contamination, the startup has expanded its solutions to monitor industrial dust emissions and water systems. In the summer of 2024, the company secured a fifty thousand euro grant from the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency to fund its expansion into the Nordic and GCC regions. WasteLocker has also been backed by prominent regional programs, including the EIT New European Bauhaus and Saudi Arabia's Sedrah Accelerator.
