Weld provides an all-in-one data platform and managed ELT infrastructure designed to eliminate data silos across modern tech stacks. Built to sit directly on top of cloud data warehouses including Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift, the platform enables business and analytics teams to centralize, clean, model, and activate operational data using pre-built connectors and AI-assisted SQL interfaces. The company was founded in 2021 by Jonas Thordal and Kristian Barrett, both early team members at European fintech unicorn Pleo. Weld secured a 4 million euro seed round supported by premier European venture funds and high-profile software founders, alongside non-equity grant funding from Innovation Fund Denmark.
