Xeryon is a KU Leuven spin-off founded in 2013 that designs and manufactures ultrasonic piezo motors, stages, and actuators combining nanometer precision with industrial-grade speed and durability. Its patented CrossFixx™ motor is claimed to be the world's fastest and most durable piezo motor, up to 100× faster than traditional piezo alternatives. The company serves semiconductor manufacturing, scientific research, microscopy, quantum technology, and medical device markets globally. Xeryon raised €3.5M in an initial capital round followed by a further €8M round backed by FPIM, Torus Capital, and Imec chairman Antoon De Proft, and recently reported revenue exceeding €4.6M with ambitions to reach €50M by 2030. All engineering and manufacturing are done in-house at its Leuven facility, with growing customer bases in North America and Asia.
